Llanystumdwy is the nearest village at just over 1 mile away which has a village pub, a shop a post office and a church. The local market town of Criccieth is just 2 miles away which offers a more extensive range of amenities - various shops including newsagents, supermarkets, several pubs, coffee shops, a popular local restaurant, as well as local services for bus and rail travel. In case of need the town also offers a doctor's surgery.
Within five minutes of the main coast road there are many tourist attractions, castles, beaches, golf courses and the Snowdonia National Park. The restaurants, bistros and inns provide you with a superb range of succulent dishes, where we will be pleased to book you a table or perhaps a seat in the famous Harlech theatre.
Beaumaris, begun in 1295, was the last and largest of the
castles to be built by King Edward 1 in Wales. It is possibly the most sophisticated example of medieval military architecture in Britain and one of the many outstanding examples of medievil castles within North Wales.
